Saffron has a wide range of applications. One of the most common uses is in cooking (for flavoring and decorating dishes, making syrups, cakes, and more). However, as mentioned earlier, it also has potential uses in the prevention, improvement, and treatment of certain diseases. Among other applications, saffron is used in the production of cosmetics and toiletries (such as healing creams for wounds, moisturizers, anti-aging and skin-lightening products, sunscreens, and anti-spot treatments, various perfumes, hair dyes, and more). Additionally, it is used for coloring fabrics, carpet fibers, making calligraphy inks, and painting colors.
